Indus Jewellery Connect (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates a curated, invitation-led buyer programme that connects Indian fine jewellery houses with qualified international buyers. This policy explains how we handle the information you provide when you register interest, apply to the founding cohort, or otherwise contact us.

2. Information we collect

We only collect the details you choose to share with us. Depending on how you engage, this may include:

  • Contact details — your name, role, email address and WhatsApp / phone number.
  • House details — the name of your jewellery house, city and country, years established, retail footprint and primary craft.
  • Reach details — whether you currently export, your diaspora clientele, the markets you serve and any trade affiliations.
  • Your message — anything you tell us in the application’s free-text field or by email.
  • Basic technical data — standard, non-identifying information your browser sends (such as device and general usage), used only to keep the site working.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you share only to:

  • Review your house for the founding cohort and the buyer programme.
  • Contact you about dates, venue, founding-cohort news and next steps.
  • Respond to your enquiries and discuss how your house could take part.
  • Operate, maintain and improve this website.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your details. Registering indicates interest — it is not a ticket or a payment. We do not share your information with third parties except where it is necessary to run the programme (for example, a service provider that helps us send email) or where we are required to by law.

5. How your information is stored

Your application progress may be saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can resume where you left off — this stays on your device until you submit or clear it. Information you submit to us is kept only for as long as needed to assess your house and run the programme, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you have shared, or to stop contacting you, at any time. To do so, write to us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date shown above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
